Institute for
Global Mental Health
Our Vision,
Mission &
Philosophy
Mental health professionals have a strong role to play in reducing inequalities and developing communities. One of our main objectives is to make mental health services accessible, affordable, and none-stigmatized around the world. Our focus is low and middle-income countries, where health systems are greatly under-resourced, and populations particularly under-served.

Project
Bridging the gap between research, knowledge transfer, and community based mental health intervention in low- and high-income countries. This will be accomplished through raising awareness about the macro-perspectives of mental health issues and human rights among grassroot community organizations, as well as policy and decision makers.
Get Involved
Help bring together grassroot groups and top-level organizations with active
involvement in issues of mental health and human rights to create a forum for open exchange, debate, and innovation to better understand the impact of poor mental health due to factors such as unemployment, violence, poverty, war, and disasters.
